The candidate willindependently carry out bioinformatics/ computational analyses andinterpretation of complex, cutting-edge, high-dimensional genomicdata sets generated by next generation sequencing instruments inconjunction with transcriptomic, single-cell and liquid biopsysequence data. These methods will be used to enhance riskprediction for precision medicine applications. Together with theprincipal investigator, the candidate will manage, analyze, andcommunicate data produced in collaborative projects focused onbasic and translational research in cancer biology, and will helpwith publication efforts. Accepted candidates will benefit from thediverse expertise across the computational/statistical andlaboratory-based research groups, which have existingcollaborations. The candidate will work as a teamwith junior analysts and will be involved in their supervision.This individual will communicate analytical results and details ofthe computational analyses effectively to the principalinvestigator and to collaboratinginvestigators.SpecificDuties/Responsibilities:Develop and apply computational and statistical methods for theintegrated analysis of high throughput sequencing studies thatinclude whole genome, whole exome, methylation, RNA sequencing,single cell and/or liquid biopsyplatforms.Maintain and troubleshoot computationalpipelines.Develop analysis methodology leveraging high dimensionalmulti-omics sequence data, including defining in detail datarequirements, data sources and proper data collectionprocedures.Develop and implement data collection quality assuranceprocedures to ensure validity and reliability of studyresults.Supervise junior data analyst and oversee troubleshooting ofcomputational pipelines.Perform data analysis and interpretation; utilize knowledge ofstatistics and quantitative analysis. And it’s emerged that the Dutch winger was inspired by the career of NBA great Jordan, who ‘retired’ before returning to action. Groningen used The Last Dance, documenting Jordan’s career and the rise of the Chicago Bulls, to persuade Robben to return according to BBC Sport. It comes with Groningen having attempted to sign Robben from Bayern Munich before his retirement last summer.
