Dont worry if you missed Monday nights matchup f

first_imgDon’t worry if you missed Monday night’s matchup featuringthe Ravens and Jaguars because, well, you didn’t missmuch. Simply put, the game wasn’t exactly a gridiron classic. The contest featured one touchdown, four field goals and afinal score of 12-7 in favor of the Jaguars. The Ravens offense looked dismal Monday night, finishingwith a total of 146 yards and only 11 first downs. Baltimore’s offense could be the break the Cardinalsdefense needs to boost their morale, but players aren’ttaking the Ravens lightly after the team’s bad offensiveperformance. “They definitely have the ability to score 40 points in agame,” defensive end Calais Campbell said. “Sometimes itwon’t work out the way it’s supposed to but they’re a goodteam; I’m not going to underestimate them at all hopefullywe can do what Jacksonville did to them.” However, the game did highlight some weak spots theCardinals defense will look to take advantage of. “It showed us some errors that they made,” cornerback AJJefferson said. “Some things we could probably do is getsome turnovers and strips; they’re probably going to bestressed about that, but other than that we’re just goingto try and play good football.” In four wins this season the Ravens average about 402yards and 34 points per game, but only average 10 pointsand 187 yards in the team’s two losses. Campbell knows the game will be a challenge no matterwhich Ravens team shows up. “They’re a good team,” Campbell said. “They have probablythe best O-line were going against so far, they run theball very well, the quarterback makes some deep throws, they have a nice deep threat. So it’s going to be a toughgame; we are going to have our hands full, but if we cantackle well and be in the right place we can giveourselves a chance.” What an MLB source said about the D-backs’ trade haul for Greinke Cardinals expect improving Murphy to contribute right away Top Stories center_img D-backs president Derrick Hall: Franchise ‘still focused on Arizona’ Comments   Share   Nevada officials reach out to D-backs on potential relocationlast_img read more
