TOURISTS ROBBED AFTER SPATE OF THEFTS AT FAMOUS DONEGAL LANDMARK

first_imgA number of tourists were robbed as they visited Donegal’s famous An Grianan Fort, Donegaldaily.com has learned.At least FIVE cars were broken into as visitors walked around the famous site in Burt at the weekend.It is believed property including handbags was stolen during the thefts which are understood to have happened in a matter of seconds. Gardai are aware of the incident and are carrying out a full investigation into the incident.The latest robberies come after an alarming spate of car break-ins across the county.Yesterday we revealed how people visiting graves in Stranorlar had been targeted.A woman’s car was broken into and a considerable sum of money stolen was stolen.
